Jabu the Elephant showcases world's first elephant orthotic brace

Soon to be on seen on Animal Planet and The Dodo TV series, Jabu the elephant is one the world’s most beloved African bulls and he is in trouble! Thirteen months ago he was badly injured when he was attacked by a wild bull elephant where Jabu lives in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. He now has a damaged wrist joint and osteo-arthritis at the young age of 31 years and will perish if we cannot control the effects of arthritis and stabilise the joint. Jabu was custom fitted with the world's first elephant orthotic leg brace with the help of Derrick Campana and Dr. Johan Marais. Jabu's fitting will be shown on Animal Planet and The Dodo in a new TV series this March 2018. Be sure to stay tuned for more details!! #standwithjabu
